The Harlow-born midfielder made his senior debut for Brentford on 21st April 2007, replacing former Grays' man Charlie Ide, in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Doncaster Rovers. He went on to make another two appearances for the Bees in the Football League, before being released in June 2008.
Whilst with Brentford, Dark had two loan spells with non-League outfits Farnborough and Ramsgate.
He then joined Wivenhoe Town in September 2008, before joining Blue Square Premier club Crawley Town just a week later. He made his debut for the Red Devils in their 4-0 thrashing of Barrow, coming off the bench in the 90th minute for Glenn Wilson.
The 19 year-old, joined Grays Ath on non-contract terms in February 2009, but failed to make a single appearance during the remainder of the 2008/09 campaign.
