Joined the club on 'non-contract' terms on 8th December 2006 and made his debut the following day at home to York City. Cadamarteri scored his one and only goal for the club in the FA Trophy win away at Weymouth. During his time playing at Grays he trialled for Leicester City, for whom he eventually signed for on 28th December 2006. The Bradford born striker started his career at Everton and scored 13 goals in his 92 league appearances for the club - a loan spell to Fulham in 1999 saw him score 1 in his 5 matches. In 2002 he joined Bradford City on a free transfer, and 2 years later signed for local rivals Leeds United. In September 2004 a £50,000 deal saw him move to Sheffield United where he stayed just the 1 season, before another free transfer to Bradford City. It was at Bradford in May 2006 that he failed a drugs test and received a 6 month ban from football, his contract was also terminated.
